The Body Control Module (BCM) contols the locking and unlocking of all doors in the car.
You don't list a year so I will give you a general solution. Many vehicles have a " body control module" or "illumination control module" when one of these malfunctions many systems will be affected.
On a 1995 Chevrolet Blazer, you will find the central locking control unit behind the instrument panel on the lower left-hand side. The 1995 Blazer SUV with the 4.3 liter engine gets 17 miles per gallon in the city and 23 mpg on the highway.
There are 4 central locking relays on this car. In one of the engine bay fuse boxes, the one whcih contains the multi fuction module. There are six slots above this, 4 of them contain the central locking relays. Good luck....

2nd Drivers door motor will need to be added in addition two relays that will be controlled from lock-unlock pulse from alarm module or after market module. Relays also feed power to door motor.
Yes.Yes.
its under the carpet in the front footwell in a black box
You are correct in that the Central Security Module (CSM) is responsible for central locking (Remove trim from above driver's footwell and you'll see the security module mounted above the engine ecu (PCM). It's a small black box with two connectors (one blue, one green). Are there any fault codes stored in the CSM? (Ford > Focus > Security > 1.6 > Petrol > 2000 > 1.6I 16V Zetec-SE > All Codes > CSM ISO) The CSM can be replaced for a used one, no coding needed, just have to add in the remotes (manual process). I got a used CSM off a well-known auction site for less than £15 hoping to cure a fault on my Focus. If you do get hold of a replacement module make sure it has the same functions labelled on the case: RF = Remotes, CL = Central Locking, DL = Double Locking, AL = Alarm Matt Read More: http://www.spsupport.com/index.php/kunena-forum/15-general/2139-2000-focus-central-locking-module#ixzz2S0Aw2aQg
