need timing marks for 97 mercury tracer
Your car probably has R134a refrigerant in it.
I believe it is in the right front corner of the engine bay as you are looking at it from the passenger seat.
nope
Vent or vacuum line to the charcoal canister
the brake light switch is just above the brake pedal. I just bought one for my own 97 tracer yesturday and need to install it.
yes, it will fit, but your ECU and PCM won't like it very much.
it is under the dash board on the passanger side all the way towards the door
I just replaced the timig belt on my 97 mercury tracer 2.0, the timing marks are lined up, but i still have no compression at all. Your input would be greatly appreciated. Im asking the question, apparently I'm in the wrong area.
Try cleaning the outside of the headlamp first with toothpaste... 99% of the time it appears as though its on the inside but its on the outside.
No, the parts on these vehicles are not interchangeable/compatible with each other. You could use Mercury Tracer parts though.
Position sensor external to transmission. Had same issue with daughter's 97 Escort until mechanic found it.
