The fuse box is located inside the cab behind clutch pedal.
Kenworth offers two models of the W900 series - the W900B, and the W900L. The W900B is the short hood model, and the W900L is the extended hood model.
The Kenworth W900L truck has a number of impressive features. It features a 550 horse power and a diesel engine with a capacity ranging from 9 to 16 liters.
It last longer run better
The transmissions has more to do with it than the model of truck... it's the same process for a Kenworth W900L as it is for a Freightliner, International, Volvo, etc. You remove the transmission, take off the pressure plate, then take off the clutch plate. Ideally, you'd remove the flywheel and have it resurfaced. Putting it back in, take a driveshaft that's been cut to align your clutch plate, then you put the pressure plate on, torque the bolts to spec, and stab the transmission back in.
Kenworth... what? Kenworth manufactures a range of trucks from Class 5 through Class 8... as is, we don't know if you're talking about a T300 box truck, a T800W heavy haul tractor, a W900L line haul tractor, a T800 dump truck, etc. Need to be more specific.
The more high end tractors are the Kenworth W900L, Peterbilt 379EXHD, Volvo VNL64T770 and VNL64T880, the International 9900ix, and the International Lone Star.
As a standard factory model, the Kenworth W900L can have a 270 inch wheelbase. Trucks longer than this are custom ordered, and have the large ICT sleepers added as an aftermarket option.
Traditionally, the longer wheelbase trucks ride smoother. There's a lot of debate on this between fans of the Kenworth W900L and Peterbilt 379. However, the Volvo trucks deliver a pretty smooth ride, as well.
You got a model? You could be talking about anything from a W900L to a T300. They're not all the same. 3 lbs., 12 ounces is typical for the 'full size' daycabs (T800, W900, etc).
Kenworth dealership. Especially if it was a fleet truck, as some fleets who've run W9s in the past or offered them for lease-purchase (e.g., Swift, Central) had a design with wiring modified quite a bit from the original configuration.
