It could be in either one of two places, first on the outside of the CD case or it would be on the back of the booklet that came in the CD case or box.

The sixteen digit code? That's not on the box, it's located on the bottom left hand corner of the backside of the plastic case wihch holds the discs. It's not on the plastic itself, but on the paper ad for "The Sims Deluxe Edition".
There is a booklet in the case of the Sims 2 disk and on the back of that booklet there is a series of letters and numbers on the top of the page, you just enter that when it tells you to.

The first edition bundle case was exclusive to the PSVita first edition bundle and cannot be bought separately. This will not stop first edition bundle owners from selling the case, however.
