It would be a good idea to go to your local library and check out the repair manuals for your vehicle if you don't have them handy. Also, today factory manuals are available in CD format for about $20 on line (so I've read). Good luck and be careful with the air bags. . .
the computer is located on the right side of the car. It is behind the pannel just behind the rear passenger door. just flip he rear seat forward and pull up on the pannel. the module is right there just below the seatbelt.

I found the computer module (w/ the keyless entry factory code) on my 2003 Ford Explorer XLT behind and just below the rear passenger side seatbelt panel. Not sure if it's in the same location on the Sport model but it's worth a shot. Carefully remove the seatbelt panel (shoulder portion) and dislodge the top portion of the panel below it. The black computer module with the keyless entry code should be easily visible.
