I take it you are asking about a Dakato etc.? Facing the truck the radiator drain is on the bottom right of the radiator & will be facing toward the engine. There are 2 drain bolts on the engine block-one on each side.

Ive never heard of draining coolant plugs except on a diesel engine . Once you drain the coolant and flush the system it should be fine

If only adding coolant to a leaking system it is safe because soon you will be forced to drain the coolant and fix a problem
It is not necessary to bleed the coolant system. If you mean "drain" the system, there is usually a plastic plug on the radiator or, you can pull the lower radiator hose off.
Nothing will happen if you drain the cooling system and replace the coolant.
