It is in the intake manifold near the thermostat housing. It is the one with the yellow and black wires.
The 1995 Chevrolet Astro and coolant temperature sensor can be found on the front of the engine. The coolant temperature sensor will be a few inches above the thermostat housing.
The 1995 Nissan: temperature sensor is located on the front of the engine. The coolant temperature sensor will be near the thermostat housing.
The coolant temperature sensor can be found on the front of the engine, near the thermostat. Remove the coolant temperature sensor retaining nut, to replace it.
the temperature sensor on the 1995 Toyota Tacoma is located on top of the engine on the front. It is beside of the thermostat housing and screws into the intake.
Somewhere under the hood!
The ECT (Electronic Coolant Temperature) sensor is located under the intake manifold on the driver's side on a 1995 Taurus SHO 3.2 liter. It is on the cylinder head.
The Coolant Temperature Sensor is located right between the # 1 and 3 spark plugs (they are on the drivers side the two most forward plugs).
The guage on the dash uses the ONE wire sensor... This is located in the block near the drivers side. Eric First check to see if you have coolant in the radiator. If there is no coolant you will not get any reading from the temperature sensor. If there is coolant then change the temperature sensor.
There is no Intake Air Temperature sensor on a 1995 only 96 and newer. If you are asking because you are putting some sort of performance module on it then you need to hook that up to the Coolant temperature sensor which is located next to the thermostat and it is a two wire sensor.
below the raditor hose that's connected to the thermostat.
The 1995 Chevy Silverado coolant sensor is located on the front of the engine. The coolant sensor will be a few inches above the thermostat housing.
http://www.lovehorsepower.com/SubaruDocs/CoolantTempSensor.htmlits a 1995 but same thing
The 1995 Lincoln Town Car coolant temperature gauge sensor can be found on the front of the engine. The coolant temperature sensor will be a few inches above the thermostat housing.
What type of coolant sensor? The below answer is for the coolant LEVEL sensor. The coolant TEMPERATURE sensor on my vehicle is located just next to the thermostat housing. On the front top center area of the engine just behind the radiator. Follow the coolant hoses if you have trouble. On my 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee the sensor is located on the top of the plastic coolant reservoir tank. Look for a small (2-wire?) electrical connector.
Coolant temp sensors are usually located very close to the thermostat housing, so follow the upper radiator hose to the engine, it will attach to the thermostst housing and you will see the coolant sensor close by.
Look at the rear of the radiator approx. 1/3 down from the top
Follow the lower radiator hose from the radiator to the back of the engine. Where it connects to the engine, you will see wires plugged in to the sensor
The coolant temperature sending sensor on 1.9L & 2.0L engines (on '96 and earlier) are located on a cooling tube or into the themostat housing (usual position).
The ECT sensor is located:(engine coolant temp) Under hood, center, upper engine area, passenger side of water outlet, mounted in intake manifold The CTS sensor (coolant temp sensor) is not applicable on this vehicle, as per autozone
The engine computer uses the coolant temperature sensor and the air conditioning pressure transducer to decide when to operate the radiator fan. The coolant temperature sensor is located near the thermostat housing on top of the engine. The ac transducer is on the line between the compressor and condenser. The engine computer uses the coolant temperature sensor and the air conditioning pressure transducer to decide when to operate the radiator fan. IAT= intake are temperature sensor ECT= engine coolant temp. sensor
Look right underneath the coolant hose where the radiator cap is. It should be located there.
Refer to the link below
The low coolant sensor is located beneath the filler neck of the radiator, down maybe 2-3 inches.
The "Coolant Sensor", for the ECU, is right next to the water neck at the front of the engine. the "Coolant sender", for the temperature guage, should be on the back of the head at the rear of the engine!
