On the rear passenger side of engine. Just above the oil pan. It
should have a 3 wire connector hooked to it.
CMP : camshaft position sensor CKP : crankshaft postion sensor.

It is the sensor in the outlet of the catalytic converter.
On V6 and V8 models the crakshaft position sensor is mounted on the passenger side of the transmission bellhousing.
The crankshaft sensor is on the right hand top side where the trans bellhousing meets the engine block it is held in with two 12mm bolts.
inside transaxle, have to drop pan and valve body, to change.
It is just above the oil filter, on the front of the engine.
Take off the old one and put the new one on.
The crankshaft position sensor can be found on the bottom of the engine in a 2000 Honda Civic EX. It is next to the crankshaft itself.
BAnk one sensor one is above the cat on the back exhaust manifold. Sensor two is below the cat.

The 2000 Buick Regal 3.8L Crankshaft Position Sensor is located behind the harmonic balancer pulley.
It should be located near the oil filter on the back side of the engine.
