if its the 3.5L the sensor is right on top, at the front of the engine. the cam sensor is near it just to the driver side of the top of the engine. The intake has to be loosened enough to get the cam sensor out form under it. The crank sensor is easier to get out.
It's located at the right (passenger) side of the transaxle bellhousing.
It doesn't have a mass airflow sensor.
It is under the intake, between the heads.
The Map Sensor mounts to the drivers side of the intake manifold plenum.
if your timing belt jumped one tooth or timing belt was installed incorrectly you will be out of sync also a defective timing belt tensioner will cause sync problems
Under the intake, between the heads.
Bank 1 is the pass side.
There are four oxygen sensors on a 2002 Intrepid. There is one before, and one after the catalytic converter on each side of the engine.
CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR The crankshaft sensor is located on the passengers side of the transmission housing, above the differential housing Crankshaft Position Sensor The bottom of the sensor sits above the drive plate REMOVAL Disconnect electrical connector from crankshaft position sensor. Remove sensor mounting screw. Remove sensor. INSTALLATION Install sensor and push sensor down until contact is made with the transmission case. While holding the sensor in this position, install and tighten the retaining bolt to 12 N·m (105 in. lbs.) torque. Connect electrical connector to crankshaft position sensor.
