The cruise control relay on a 1994 F150 is operated by a switch behind the horn pad and airbag on the steering wheel. The switch will probably need replacement if the cruise control in your vehicle is malfunctioning.
$10.49 What about it?
Hope this will help! 1989 F-150 4 wheel drive, with cruise control, 4.9 six cylinder. Can't find the horn relay. All my other sources say mounted to the cruise control amplifier bracket. Not there on this truck.
take it to a mechanic. Cruise control repairs are pretty difficult and unless you are real good and know what you are doing I would not mess with it.
Several things can cause the problem. Check the cable and see if it is properly adjusted. Also check for a vacuum leak.
I did a Google search for NHTSA , got on their website and checked for recalls , there were 2 recalls for the 2001 F-150 but not for the cruise control
driver side under the hood inside the power distribution box relay 3
It is located just in front of your fuse box under the hood on the fire wall. you will see a cable running from your throghtal to it. Mine had a burnt plug that caused the servo to fry and had to replace.
The power control module (PCM) is the brain of the vehicles engine functions. The relay is a module as part of its power supply circuit.
Steering wheel?
If a 1985 Ford F150 5.8, with a replaced speed sensor, cruise control surges and with a working pedal switch, it is due to vacuum leak. Check on the cruise box under the hood for any leaks.
Check the fuse first then the brake light switch
