The date on all Standing Liberty quarters is at the bottom edge of the coin, below Miss Liberty's feet.

Early Standing Liberty quarters had a design defect that caused the date to wear off more quickly than expected, but it took a number of years for the problem to become severe enough for the Mint to take action. As a result it's common to find SL quarters without a date. Unfortunately a missing date means they're only worth their silver metal value, maybe $3 or so as of 11/2009.

What is the value of a 1924 liberty standing silver dollar?

Are you sure this is a 1924 standing liberty silver dollar? All my resources tell me there were no standing liberty silver dollars minted in 1924. The peace silver dollar was the coin minted in 1924. There were no standing Liberty dollars. The quarter issued from 1916 to 1930 bears the standing Liberty design, and the half issued from 1916 to 1947 bears the walking Liberty design. No, there is no running Liberty design, LOL!

1943 liberty quarter?

No such coin exists. The last Liberty quarter (the standing Liberty) was last minted in 1930, however if you have a Washington quarter, that date is rather common and it is worth around $5.25 in silver content in average circulated condition.

What year would a quarter be if it has an eagle on the back of coin and a man carring a sack on the front of coin?

It's not a man carrying a sack. It's Miss Liberty wearing a gown. The coin is called a Standing Liberty Quarter. The Standing Liberty Quarter was minted from 1916-1930. These quarters are composed of 90% Silver and 10% copper.

What is the value of a 1964 liberty standing quarter?

The last Liberty Standing quarters were minted in 1930. All quarters minted after that have the current image of Washington on the obverse. A 1964 Liberty Standing quarter would be a privately-minted fantasy piece with little collector value. If you have a 1964 Washington quarter it's worth about $3.50 for its silver content. If you have a different coin please post a new question with additional details.

What is on the back of a silver quarter?

It depends on the quarter. From 1932-1964 silver quarters had the familiar Washington eagle design on the back, just like clad quarters up until the state quarter series. The Standing Liberty quarters depict an Eagle in flight, the barber quarter has a heraldic eagle on the reverse and earlier coins usually have something stating that it is a quarter of a dollar.
