The Devil's Backbone is in the beautiful Hill Country of Texas in the Fischer and Wimberley area. The best two mile stretch begins at the picnic area on Ranch Road 32 approximately 2 miles east of its intersection with FM 3424 on the north side of Canyon Lake and runs east to the Devil's Backbone Tavern.
