On my feb 2002 Renault laguna 2 1.8 dymanique petrol it is behind the ashtray,
open the ashtray, grab the flap and pull / twist gently to pull out the ashtray, wiggle it about but don't force it.
tho diagnostic slot has a cover over it so you need to open that first (think its the left hand edge that lifts but trial and error will sort this.
warning, do NOT connect the code reader with the ignition on or the engine running, and once connected do not start the car, you can put the card in so the ignition comes on but it is not nescessary, just having it so the radio comes on is enough.
remove your key card BEFORE removing the code reader.
i did this wrong and got the airbag warning light on until the next time i stopped and removed the keycard.
good luck
i believe there are two. one is under the ashtray in the front of the vehicle, and the other is next to the battery under the bonnet.
hi i have a 51 plate laguna and its under the ashtray..... .
The 1996 Renault Laguna uses a diagnostic connector with four pins, which is part of the OBD-I system, common in older vehicles. To access diagnostic information, you typically need to use a specific adapter or tool designed for Renault vehicles of that era. You can connect the appropriate diagnostic tool to the pins to read fault codes and monitor vehicle systems. Always refer to the vehicle's service manual for specific pin configurations and diagnostic procedures.
My data shows DLC located on the bulkhead behind the brake master cylinder oblong in shape with 12 pins best wishes Last time my laguna was plugged in, he took the ash tray out on the centre console and plugged it in there.
POST diagnostic cards rely on an expansion slot so if the slot is not functioning, neither will the diagnostic card. Additionally, firmware is required for up-to-date information on newer BIOSes. Otherwise, POST codes may be invalid if they are not being interpreted correctly.
The diagnostic connector is on the firewall on the passenger side.It is clipped into a plastic cover. It has one connector with 6 slots and another single wire connector.
Center of dash, below the ash tray is a slot 4 inches by 1/2 inch.
Its slot 9 and size 15 fuse.or for slot should i say 2nd row down 3rd to the right!
Automatic transmission has a "override" button on the console. You either slide the tab or you pop it off and push a car key down in the slot or you just push a key down in the slot. You will reconize this slot. Just look for it.
It's a dynamic mic, so just buy a 1/4 inch to 3.5mm converter and plug it into your computer's mic slot.
Just the same as most cars. The wiper arms appear not to bend back but they do. You need to stop them by turning off the ignition whilst they are running whilst they are vertical oin the screen. They will then hinge with a bit of force Depends which Laguna, The Laguna11 is fitted with Veleo wipers which have a long slot in them as you can only lift them away from the screen about 6 inches.
That is the 'mystery port' - it is either; A - a port for an upcoming, but unannounced PSVita accessory. B - possibly a port for a diagnostic tool that Sony can use on it, if you send one in for repair.
