the accents have distributorless ignition systems to change the igniton coil pack just undo the 4 spark plug wires and undo two 10-11mm bolts and unplug the harness. this should take about 5 min to do
there is no distributer its coil packs
air conditioner condenser is in front of radiator ignition condensor should be in side the distributer cap or on side of distributer
L/H side under distributer cap in my standard
Find the distributer cap. It is the thing all your spark plug wires are connected to. Usually in the center of the distributer cap a wire will lead all the way to the coil. My coil on a 1992 is located below the alternator bolted to the passenger side of the engine.
Inside the distributer cap on the back side of it.
Look near the firewall just left of the distributer cap
There isn't a distributor cap it has a coil pack and it is located in the front passenger side it is a rectangular box that the plug wires are connected to
Inside the distributer. Remove cap and rotor. Remove plate and there it is- small plastic piece.
if's it's a 1.5 or 1.6 ltr. it's in side the distributer cap.
distributer cap, low octane gas, or spark plugs i would do the distributer cap first.
The Distributer module on "92" S-10 Vin code "W" or "Z" is located on the distributer, you must remove the distributer cap to gain access to the ignition module. Once you have gained access to the ignition rotor it is always necessary to always test the module before replacing it.
sounds like you have moisture in the distributer next time it wont start, remove distributer cap, and using a hair dryer, dry inside distributer cap,and inside distributer
