Look near the firewall just left of the distributer cap
It is on the back of the engine, next to the distributor.
On my 1995 Ford Explorer, with the 4.0 L OHV engine, the sending unit for the oil pressure guage is located just below the power steering pump.
if it is an 350 eng it is located at the rear of the intake manifold,on the top of the block, next to the dist.
The oil sending unit on a 2001 Chevy Blazer is just above the oil filter. It is actually located on the diagonal to the oil filter to the upper left.
Back of the engine, next to the distributor.
I'm not a mechanic / technician but I believe the oil pressure sending unit on the Ford 4.0 liter SOHC , V6 engine is on the front of the engine . ( in the area where the lower radiator hose connects to the water pump )
There are two next to the thermostat housing. The one wire sensor is for the gauge. The two wire sensor is for the computer.
May be mounted to or above oil filter
Screwed into the engine block under the distributor.
It is on th eback of the engine , next to the distributor.
Probably the sending unit.
It is screewed into the top of the engine right behind the distributor. It is very hard to get to.
