If it is the 2.2L engine, it doesn't have one.
If your S10 has a 2.2L engine, it doesn't have a distributor cap.
That should be a 2.2 engine and no, it does not have a distributor cap. It has a DIS (Distributorless Ignition System).
If you have the 2.2 L engine in that 99 S10, there is no distributor in that vehicle. It has a DIS (Distributorless Ignition System).
It has a coil pack but no distributor.
We need to know which engine it has.
HEI? inside the distributor cap
Yes it does it is under the distributor cap.
The ignition module is located in the distributor, under the distributor cap.
Need to know what engine you have.
the 1999 Chevy venture does not have distributor cap, he has a electronic module assembly, assembly is module and three coils, they are located on the top of the engine, back in the medium near of the firewall.
The ign. control module on a 2.8L s10 is in the distributor. Remove the distributor cap and it is attached to the base of the distributor
There is no dip stick just a plug to be removed about 5 inches up on the right side of the trans. If fluid runs out that opoening, it is full. On my 1999 S10 pickup the trans dipstick is located left and in front of the distributor cap (4.3L).
