The oil drain is located behind the left sidecover. There you will see a hose with a metal plug in the end held in place by a clamp. Loosen the clamp, remove the plug and oil will drain from the tank.
The 2003 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softtail transmission drain plug is on the bottom of the transmission. The drain plug is flush with the bottom of the transmission. You can remove it with a half inch ratchet.
