The DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) connector would be located under the drivers side of the dash. Plug the scanner into the DTC connector and then follow directions that came with your scan tool.
plug in scan tool or code reading into OBD2 DLC 16 pin connector above right knee. press reset DTC. done.
If you fixed the problem you need a code reader/Scanner and erase them off the PCM with the OBD2 reader/scanner

Doesn't work that way on that car. You need a code scanner to read the DTC's. Your local auto parts store can help you with that at no charge.

That would be a OBD II system. You need a code scanner to read the codes.
You need either a code scanner or a analog volt meter. With the scanner, you just need to read the codes. WIth the volt meter, you'll need a chiltons or hanes manual to see where to hook it up.

I had the same message come up at autozone. I think it means that the code # is not defined in the scanner tool, probally a manufacturer specific code.
