Sorry the question is not very clear. I have removed the glovebox of an BMW E36 R reg 323i tourer looking for fuse 47 which feeds the alarm as I need to reset it. With the glovebox removed I still cant find the fusebox which should be there. Am I overlooking the obvious or is it still hidden from view?
You do not specify what year. With the air filter on the E36 (approx 1992-1999) you must remove the glovebox. After the glovebox is removed you will see the air filter on the left side (on an RHD car)
glovebox
behind the glovebox, remove it and the filter should be in the left, you have to removed a butterfly shaped holder and then pull out the old filter
behind the glovebox. glovebox needs to be removed
Behind the glovebox
Look in the glovebox under the parcel trey that is in there. It is actually under the glovebox but you access it thru the glovebox.
The BMW fuse box diagram can be found on the inside cover of the fuse box. The diagram can also be obtained from most BMW dealerships.

I have a 94 grand am, the fuse for those two is the acc. Fuse
The fuse box is underneath the glovebox.
