It may have 2 engine temp sensors/sending units. One for the dash gauge and is located on the side of the drivers side cylinder head and has one wire leading to it. The other feeds temp info to the ECM and is located next to the thermostat housing and has two wires leading to it.
"Neither. Most likely for knock sensor. check other side in same location. There will most likely be a round sensor threaded into the block. no oil or coolant present.
NO. You must stay under the year of 99 and it must be a 4L60E transmission.
57 degrees celsius is equal to 330.15 Kelvin
Oxygen sensors are in the exhaust manifold, right before the crossover or headpipe, depending on which you have. If it says "bank 1" on the code reader, just replace them both. Since oxygen sensors fail after they've served for a while, if one has gone bad the other will be there soon.
ive just had one fitted by a garage ,the part cost £57 ,fitting cost around £30 gulp! Was an MOT fail because it messes up the emmissions badly, a knackered sensor causes the engine management system to run the engine rich with poor mpg
