use eye wash station
Eye wash
There are a few types of safety precautions when working in a lab. For instance, there should be an eye-wash station in case chemicals get in the eyes. There should be gloves available to use, along with goggles, and protective clothing. The lab should also contain a fire-extinguisher.
immediately wash it with fresh water or saline solution.
It is a mild irritant at this concentration; however, the greatest danger is to the eyes. Use precautionary measures by wearing protective goggles, but if the solution does get into the eyes, flush immediately at the eye-wash station in your lab.
Generally, flush the eye with water for a period of time (like ten minutes). It depends on what chemical it is. Some require rinsing with water, some require an emergency room trip after a good flushing with water. Consult the label in the chemical packaging.
You should first apply Spray and Wash to the lab coat and then try to wash it. If this does not work, you may have to send your lab coat to the dry cleaners in order to get it clean.
The sky-lab did the same thing a space station would do
I had to use an eyewash after the sand blew in my face.
If anything happens in the lab e.g a chemical goes in your eye make sure that you wash it properly then go to the doctors to get it checked. Also if anything else happens take them to the hospital or doctors.
