in the trunk, IIRC on the left side, behind the trunk lining. Pull the lining loose and it will be stamped on the inside of your left rear fender...I think. I KNOW it's in the trunk and I had to pull some of the lining loose to get to it, I'm guessing it was on the left side. (and my town car is a '95...)
