the fan relay is like a fuse, it is located in the fuse box underneath the hood of the car next to the battery it is inside the litle black box. if you look on the inside top of that box lid it will tell you witch one is witch

The 2004 Dodge Intrepid cooling fan relay switch can be found on the back of the cooling fan motor. The cooling fan relay switch is attached to the fan motor with two retaining screws.

The fan clutch is a mechanical viscous drive and does not have a relay.
If I am not mistaken, I belive the fan relay switch is located directly behind the battery in a little black box. You have to sorta pry these two little clasps (sorta hard) in order to get the lid of the box off. Inside there are a bunch of switches. I am not completely sure which is for fan relay, but it is there. Owners manual should say which is which. Good Luck.
