How to change bulb behind switch of fan Toyota Avenses
First you have to determine what the problem is. The fan, fuse, switch, loose connection. Check the fuse first and then run power to the fan to see if it works.
the fan switch.
You can replace it with a new one. However, it could also be the relay. I purchased them at Advance auto parts.
It might faulty temperature switch or the fan itself.
Rear of thermostat housing. Single green wire with white connector. Need 17mm to remove.
You're on the wrong forum.
take the old switch out, put a new one in
Its screwed into the thermostat housing under the distributor.
Most likely the wiring connector that connects the fan speed switch to the motor circuit has overheated and some contacts no longer transmit power.
Fan (heater/air conditioning) relay switch
fan motor could be grounding internally Unplug the fan switch and ground the wire if the fan stops replace the switch. If not you have an open between the coolant sensor (switch) and the relay. The coolant sensor for the fan is not the same sensor for the computer/fuel injection.
