If I am not mistaken a manual or 5 speed transmission doesn't have transmission fluid.
My Haynes manual says to fill it by removing the speed sensor.

fill it until it starts coming back out of the fill hole
There is a fill plug on the body of the 5 speed manual transmission
Go to Jeep.com and click on "for owners" . Press download owner's manual then just fill in the type of truck etc.

Should be a plug at the side about 1/2 way up on the transmission - fill to this level
Drain plug is hex 17mm; fill plug is hex 13mm
