Flasher and fuse
Check the fusebox, it will be a big looking fuse. This will need to be replaced if the turn signal stops "ticking"
it is next to the fuse panel
I have a '91 Cavalier 2.2L My flasher is located behind the fuse box to the left of the steering column. The flasher is mounted against the firewall.
It COULD be a blown fuse. Check the fuse panel. It COULD by a blown flasher unit. If the fuse is OK, change the flasher.
The 1998 Ford Mustang owners manual shows : fuse # 13 - 15 amp - electronic flasher fuse # 18 - 15 amp - electronic flasher which fuse is for the turn signal flasher and which fuse is for the hazard flasher it does not specify

I had a 1991 Chevy Cavalier and I needed to replace the flasher bulb as well. It took awhile but I found it under the drivers side dash. It's a circular shaped aluminum fuse.

Int fuse box, number and location in there will be in your manual if you mean the relay
