Not sure what you need it cut off for, when I'm changing my fuel filter, i disconnect my fuel pump relay. its on the driver's side of the fire wall. Mine has a green harness on it ('94 jimmy)(you'll know it is the right one when you disconnect and turn the car to ignition, you won't hear the fuel pump start). Start it, let it use the gas it has till it dies- then the fuel's cut off. .
Some vehicles are not equipped with a fuel cutoff switch. A 2000 GMC Jimmy is an example of a vehicle that does have a fuel cutoff switch.

The answer I'm giving is based on my 1994 GMC Jimmy, which is still the "square" body style. The fuel tank holds 20 gallons as far as I know.
Gmc does not use inertia/reset switches.
gm products do not have fuel cutoff switches.
