The fuel filter is in the gas tank and is an integral part of the fuel pump. Theoretically it never needs replacement (there's no maintenance schedule for it).
Cheers
In the gas tank, connected to the fuel pump. Cheers
The fuel filter is located by right side of the engine...It's in front of the master cylinder..
In the fuel pump assembly located in the fuel tank. Not a required maintenance item. Member of Toyota Nation forum said recently that filter is sold separately. About $50.00
Inside the fuel tank.
It's in the fuel tank attached to the botom of the fuel pump.
It's just below the Mass Airflow Sensor. The easiest way to find it is to follow the line from the fuel rail down to the filter. Cheers
The 2001 Solara is fuel injected. There is no carburetor. Cheers
The fuel filter is inside the fuel tank, Toyota designed this way and said it is unnecessary/ non-serviceable. but if you have the will you can do it
Follow the fuel rails to the fuel line and down to the filter. You'll find it on the driver's side, roughly a foot below the Brake master cylinder on the inside frame rail.
One should just under the battery, another one is the gas tank attached to the gas pump.
If it has a replaceable filter I recommend every 75,000 miles.
The fuel filter for 2002 and all 7th Generation Celicas(2000 thru 2005) is located inside the fuel tank
