The filter is usually mounted in the carburetor at the end of the incoming fuel line. Take the fuel line off and then loosen the bigger nut. The filter is inside about 2" long and 1" round. There is usually another small canister filter with a return line located down low on the right side of the engine under the alternator.
with a 360 about 250hp
fuel tank
I assume it is in the tank. I know it was on my 96 ram 360.
It is inside the tank, part of the fuel pump module.
The fuel filter is also known as a fuel regulator in this application because the small filter is inside the regulator. The filter/regulator is on top of the fuel pump module. You will need to drop down the fuel tank to replace.
I would find and replace the fuel filter first and if that's not your problem then check out the fuel pump.Good luck
Either on the underside of the hood or in any Chilton or Hayes manual for your vehicle.
In the fuel tank. You either have to remove tank, or remove bed to access.
The 360 V8 holds five quarts with filter.
Yes. But! You will have to change the rear out put casing and output shaft.

Change the fuel filter and if that doesn't do it have the cat convertor checked out. fuel filter in tank one unit run you about 250. bad cat can be determined by a rotten egg smell from exhaust
