The fuel filter lies under the big black tube that carries the air to the throttle. Remove that black tube, only 3 screws/nuts and then u see the black filter there. Remove the nut that lies on top of the filter, then the one at the bottom. The bottom one is a bit hard to get to. Then remove the clamp that secures the filter to the car, again only 2 nuts/screws. Replace and reverse directions. Most like other Camrys,look for a cylinder on drivers side of engine compartment,forward of brake booster and slightly below hood line.It has a fuel line on top and one on the bottom.. there are 2. one is located in the fuel tank, the other is bolted to the drivers front inner fender. open the hood and look under and behind the airbox for a 3" diameter black can with a hose bolted to the top. that is the fuel filter.
