If you look at the front of the carburetor you will see a medal fuel line that screws into a fitting on the carburetor. The fuel line fitting is a 5/8 and could be a 1/2 inch. The fitting that is screwed into the carburetor takes a 1 inch wrench. Take the fuel line loose from that fitting first, Then take the 1 inch fitting out of the carb. There will be a paper filter and a spring in there. That is the fuel filter. Pay attention how it comes out. It must be put back the same way are it won't run.
