Get under the pickup and trace the fuel line. I don't remember if it is under the vehicle or under the hood. You just have to look.
A 2nd opinion could be:I have 1979 Toyota and the fuel filter is in the engine compartment -passenger side -next to air cleaner.Following the fuel line will find it anyway
It's at the carburetor.
In the carburetor.
Located on the carb. Remove the air cleaner and between the ignition coil & the distributor you will see the fuel line going to the carb. Between the rubber line & the carb is the filter (screws into the carb). Two options, long & short filter.
In the fuel tank.
where it located the fill fiter on 1979 rx7cougar
its an TOYOTA engine 1.6 ccm. Anno 1979.
On my 79 Fuel Injected Beetle the oil filter is a screen located underneath the engine.
fuel filter on 1079 power wagonthere isn't an inline filter on it or atleast there isn't on mine but if your standing in front of the truck with the hood open it should be on the left towards you near the bottom kinda under the alternato .Yours may be different but that's where mine is.
== == If it's a manual it has no filter. If it's an automatic it's on the bottom. Pull the pan on the bottom of the tranny and it will be directly above. Inside the transmission.
