The Fuel Filter is a black cylindrical can and is located on the drivers side inner fender, below and just behind the air cleaner box. To replace it: 1) Make sure the engine is cold. 2) Remove the air cleanr box. 3) Put a rag under the filter to absorb any gas that comes out. 4) Slowly unscrew and remove the bolt from the 'banjo' fitting on top of the filter and fold the outlet hose back out of the way. NOTE: Do not loose the gasget washer that goes between the filter and the banjo fitting. 5) Unscrew the flair nut fitting under the filter and push back the supply line. 6) Unscrew the two bolts that hold the filter assembly on the fender. 7) Loosen the clamp on the filter assembly and slide it out. 8) Reverse the process, remembering to put the gasget washer between the top of the filter and the banjo nut.
