It is underneath the car towards the back of the car behind the fuel tank. Follow the fuel lines you will find it.
Just a note: Before attempting to replace your fuel filter, open the hood of your car and go to the passenger-side fender. Directly behind the pulley, you'll see a valve that looks like it belongs on a tire, use a rag and Phillips screwdriver to release the fuel pressure. Make sure the car is cool and use the rag to cover the valve and keep gas from spraying everywhere. Once this is done you can find the fuel filter between the gas tank and trunk compartment. You'll have to get under the rear of the car to access it. I used a long Crecent wrench and a 12 mm to unscrew the coupling. Now the ugly little clip... use your fingers, NO TOOLS REQUIRED or you may damage the clip, depress the blue tab with your thumb, it disengages the clip lock and open the clasp. Now squeeze both side of the blue clasp so they disengage from the black shroud that keeps the clip in place and push up, this frees the lock and you can now remove the old fuel filter. You'll lose about a cup of fuel, but try to keep it in the filter as much as possible to inspect for contaminants after you get it removed. Put the new filter on in the reverse order and make certain that the clip is locked firmly in place and that the screw coupling is nice and tight. You're done. Shouldn't take more than 3 to 5 minutes. REMEMBER: When jacking a car up to set the EBrake and block the tires. There is very little room under these vehicles and they will crush you.
