Look under the vehicla along the frame - follow the fuel line from the tank Fue Filter on all Astro Vans that I know of is underneath the van along the drivers side just behind the drivers seat position.
It is along the frame rail near the outside of the car. It is a metal cylinder filter about 4inches long and maybe 1.5 inches diameter. There is an inlet line on one end and an outlet on the other which are threaded in, I have had the best luck with line wrenches. There is a clamp ring which holds the filter to the body. Good luck.
There is only one fuel filter.
No, a 1996 is fuel injected not carburetted. The fuel filter is along the frame.
i replaced the steering column and the fuel filter. the radio was stolen
Follow the fuel lines forward from the fuel tank to the engine. Along that route you will find the fuel filter.
how do you remove a fuel filter from a 1990 astro van do you have to drain fuel tank
There isn't one. That's a Ford thing.
i think it's 27 gallons (for the cargo van)
the fuel filter on your astro van is mount along the inside of the frame rail on the driver side(just behind the driver door)under the van. it's a cyliner looking cantainer.
The 1996 Chevrolet blazer gas filter is in the fuel tank. Drain the fuel from the tank. Remove the gas filter retaining bolts. The gas filter will come out.
You can change your fuel filter with a 9/16 socket, a flat head screwdriver, and a Phillips head screwdriver. The fuel filter is located inside of the gas tank.
I am working on a similar truck, a Chevy Astro van. The fuel filter for it is mouinted on the l/s frame rail in front of the leaf spring mount. Hope this helps
Its a inline filter that is back along the frame by the fuel tank on the passengers side.
