I think it's under the bed, passenger's side in a bracket on the frame. It's very easy to get to. You don't need to put the car on a lift but you do need to get on your back near the rear tire. That's where it is on my 1989 Toyota Pickup 2.4 2 barrell carbureted engine.

They are normally located either behind the glove box or under it somewhere.
The 1997 Toyota T100 pickup with 2-wheel drive and a 3.4 liter EFI DOHC 6-cylinder engine uses R-134a refrigerant. The capacity is 23 ounces.
very carefully from the drive shaft end
no flow in radiator
The AC works much better when the air re-circulation button is on.
Toyota 4 cylinder EFI engines have the fuel filter under the intake manifold. It can be tricky to get to and you may need to remove other parts to get in to it. If you have small hands and a cold engine you'll be way ahead. In the Hiace you have to remove the drivers seat and the panels under it, including the handbrake. In the Hilux you've got a lot easier access. Good luck.
it is a 6 lug
Not good! My '94 Toyota Pickup, 4 cylinder, 2 wheel drive gets about 30 mpg. If it is a V6 with A/T that is about all you will get.
1985 was the last year of the rear wheel drive celicas. As far as I know, no front wheel drive celica used the 22r motor. If it truly is a 22R motor it will fit the pickup, provided the pickup has a 22R motor. Some of the later ones have a different 4 cylinder or V6 motors. Of course, the induction and exhaust systems will be different in the car and pickup, but those from the pickup should bolt to the replacement 22R motor.
