It is in the Fuel Tank. It sells for around $75.00 and is a 1 to 2 hour Job. After replaceing you will probally need a Scan Tool to clear DTCs.
You don't. It is a permanent filter mounted inside the fuel tank.
The fuel filter is located inside the fuel tank and is a permanent filter that does not need replacing.
For some strange reason Honda has the Fuel Filter on the INSIDE of the fuel tank. That is what the Honda dealership told me when I asked where the Fuel Filter was located on my 1999 Odyssey - I think that's dumb. It's obviously cheaper to replace a fuel filter that is mounted on the outside of a fuel tank 'cause it only takes a minute or two, maybe three....or four..... So when the filter get's clogged the fuel pump will die, you'll end up paying big bucks for towing, parts, labor & taxes. I wonder how much it is for a Honda Fuel Pump? Probably $450+.
It is not replaceable, is a permanent filter, and is located in the fuel tank.
There is no fuel shutoff on a Honda.
Drain the fuel from the fuel tank. Remove the fuel line. Remove the fuel filter retaining bolts. Remove the fuel filter. Reverse the process to install the new fuel filter.
