I believe you will find it the gas tank. Every car that I ever worked on the was fuel injection the fuel pump was in the gas tank. Fuel injected cars require at least 60 lbs of pressure to run so they installed a fuel pump that is operated off of 12 volts while the key is turned on. you will have to drain the fuel tank and drop it down low enough to remove the pump. Once you have done this, it will be right in front of you and easy to change. The pump costs around $100 but every car is different so yours might cost a little less or a little more. It takes about an hour to change it if you have done it before.
