Some Rivieras had an electric fuel pump in the tank.
under the carpet in the trunk on the right hand side is an access panel that will allow you to get to the fuel pump with out dropping the tank, first I would check to see if the wire coming from the fire wall to the rear right hand side of the engine is attached, if this wire comes off the fuel pump will not work. It comes from the fire wall and clips onto what looks like a little nail head. But getting to the fuel pump from the trunk is easy.
Where my fuel pump located on my 1992 Buick riviera
the fuel pump is located in the fuel tank
in the gas tank
The fuel filter is located underneath the car near the rear tire (driver-side), near the gas tank.
The fuel filter is usually on the fuel line leading to the carburator. unless you have a secondary filter that was install after market.
The fuel pump module is located in the gas tank. It is accessed through the trunk. Under the carpet.
its located directly under the drivers side door. easy accessible
There is an access panel in the trunk you have to remove the carpet then you'll see the panel.
gas tank
about 16 gallons
Yes you do and its a pain
Driver? If you are meaning the computer based driver, its located in the ECM. If you are talking about the fuel suplier for the fuel injectors, that would be your fuel pump, and its located in the gas tank. Other than that, I am unsure how to answer the question.
