My motorhome is a 2004 Itasca on a workhorse P32 chassis. The fuel pump is inside the fuel tank. I'm in the process of changing it right now.
Fuel tank
fuel pump is located on the inside of the chassis rail on the passenger side about level with the rear of the front door
fuel pump is located on inside of chassis rail under the driver side of truck, about level with the leading edge of the front door
The main fuel filter is part of the fuel pump located inside the fuel tank. The tank must be evacuated and removed to replace the filter by removing the pump assembly and installing a new filter. I have recently replaced my fuel pump, and it isn't much fun. The easy answer is that there is also an "in-line" filter located somewhere on the chassis (I don't remember the exact location) on the chassis, and can be replaced fairly easily from underneath the vehicle.
On the frame rail about even w/ the trans. bell housing on the outside of the fuel filter bracket.
there is a fuel pump on the chassis rail, near rear end also a big fuel pump on top of engine between fuel filter and turbo
