I have a 2005 passat, w a 2.8l engine. I replaced the fuel pump relay in hopes that it was my starting problem. It is behind the drivers side kick panel (removal of 2-3 screws) which is above the brake pedal. Its number is 372 upside down with 5 contacts. its roughly 1inch cubed in size.
There is no such thing as a relay flasher. It is either a relay or a flasher. Are you referring to the turn signal flasher or an actual relay like the fuel pump relay? Please advise.
in the fuel tank
It is inside the fuel tank.
Mounted on top and inside the fuel tank.
The fuel filter is in the gas tank on the end of the fuel pump.
It is part of the fuel pump module in the tank.
Unfortunately, it's located inside the fuel tank. FriPilot
You have 2 choices. You can remove the fuel tank, or you can unbolt the bed and move it back far enough to access the pump.
Maybe fuel pump or dirty injectors
If a Passat 04 TDI's indicator lights are not working, check the fuse. A blown fuse can cause the lights to stop working.

Because the fuel filter is located inside the fuel tank and is part of the fuel pump module. The fuel filter by itself is not serviceable.
