The fuel pump relay should be located in the engine compartment directly behind the drivers seat location. There will be two or three relays, one of which is the the fuel pump relay. You should disconnect battery before attempting to service the relay.
AC and fuel pump are the same relay
The 1984 Chevrolet Cavalier 2.0 liter engine fuel pump relay can be found on the firewall in the engine compartment. The fuel pump relay will be on the drivers side of the firewall.
On the firewall, directly behind the driver. There are two there. One of them is for the fuel pump.
Kind of tucked in behind the air cleaner behind the driver on the fire wall. It is identical to the fuel pump relay and I do not believe the AC relay is listed any more but the fuel pump relay is.
All Fieros have the fuel pump inside the fuel tank By the way you may be having trouble because there was no fiero in 1977, production was from 1984 to 1988 so your car is probably a 1987
Is on the front fire wall right behind the driver. Available from any parts store.
There is no relay for the fuel gauge. It is powered directly off the ignition switch. The fuel pump relay is behind the driver in the engine compartment on the fire wall just forward of the air cleaner.
There is a fuel pump relay and there is an enertia switch that is the fuel shut off. The enertia switch on my 95 is in the trunck on firewall behind carpet (left side). I have not yet found my fuel pump relay.
Fuel pump in a Fiero is electric. It's in the gas tank. Gas tank's in the middle of the car. Drop the tank. Pull the pump.
