Where is the fuse box location in a 1995 Mercedes sprinter 208D van?

On a 1999 208d it is on the steering column and access is through a large plastic cover released by a single large plastic screw/bolt. In here are most fuse and relays etc. Alternatively some are under the drivers seat accessed by a black clip on panel on the metal housing that the seat is attached to.
