The fuse is located behind a panel located above the hood release. It is called "socket" on the diagram on the panel. I noted, from the Owner's Manual, that the "cigarette lighter" is actually a 12 V outlet, really not intended for a cigarette lighter.

If you still have the fuse box cover, it should be on that.
There is probably a short in the wiring.
The layout is on the cover panel of the fuse box. Otherwise, you'll have to buy a manual.

Look in the driver side footwell. To the left of dead pedal is a small lid that covers the fuse box. You'll see the cigarette lighter fuse there. Top row right next to the fuse removal tool 15A. - 2004 Nissan 350Z
The fuse for the cigarette lighter in the 2003 Saturn Ion is number 15A. It is located in the fuse box under the dashboard of the vehicle.

its the same fuse as the lighter.. needs a 15 fuse...
