There are separate fuses for both the front and rear auxiliary power points. Check the fuse box to see if the fuse is blown out.

The auxiliary fan fuse can be found in the fuse box. The auxiliary fan fuse location is dependent upon the year of the vehicle. Fuse locations are usually listed on the inside cover of the fuse box.

In your front power distribution box ( which is " live " ) located in the engine compartment , mini fuse ( # 8 ) is a 20 amp fuse for the power point
The auxiliary fuse box is located under the passenger side knee bolster
The relay of C180 is locate at the front near the brake servo in cover with black top.
Fuse box is located on the right bottom side wall near the passenger front seat. Two screws to open the side wall box. There will be a drawing on the cover to show you which fuse. I think it is fuse #6.
According to the 2000 Ford Ranger Owner Guide : ( # 22 is a 20 amp mini fuse for the Auxiliary Power Socket ) * in the fuse panel IN the drivers end of the dash , the fuse panel cover is visible with the drivers door open
