Starters don't generally have one. They do, however, usually employ a heat switch to protect themselves from damage by overcranking. They also employ a relay which is usually integral to the starter solenoid.

First, locate the fuse box. Then, once inside the fuse box, locate the 120 amp fuse. Remove it by pulling it straight out. Lastly, place the new one in place of the old one.
Locate fuse. Remove old fuse with appropriate tool in necessary. Replace with new fuse of similar size and rating.
To locate your fuse box, check your owners manual. There should also be a diagram for where each fuse is located.
This worked for me. Locate the fuse block, mine is in the glove box. Locate fuse number 65 and pull it. If the internal wire is severed, replace that fuse with one of the same amperage.
