There are over 15 million baptized members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) worldwide. There are Mormons living in nearly every country around the world. (some very hostile or strict communist nations, such as North Korea, do not allow Mormonism.)

About 40% of all Mormons live in the United States, where the Church was founded. Mormonism is especially popular in the western United States, and the headquarters of the Church has been located in Salt Lake City, Utah sice 1847. Approximately 10% of all Mormons live in Utah.

Mormonism is increasingly popular in Mexico, Central America, and South America. The faith is also gaining popularity in many African nations. Numbers remain steady in Europe, Australia, and more westernized Asian nations. Mormonism is rare but does exist in the Middle East, and in smaller less westernized Asian countries.
