its at the top of the fuse panel under the dash. its realy at the very top 180 not 109. 109 is the load reduction relay for the ecm and cluster.
How do you get to the glow plug relay in a 2001 VW Jetta?
A panel just above the gas and brake pedals needs to be removed. Follow your steering wheel down. There are about 3 torque-head screws that hold it on. When the panel is off, you must look up inside. I believe the glow plug relay is (150). There is also a (109) relay that make give you problems down the road, consider changing this also. The 150 relay tends to be a expensive. Before you replace it, make sure your glow plug harness is not to blame. Go to Fred's Tdi page if you have diesel questions. It is very helpful.
