Where is the hazard light switch on the Kawasaki vulcan?
Well if its a kawasaki vulcan 400 classic, you will find it on the left side- a small switch. Probably silver. You can leave it on and turn off the ignition, and have your lights off of a daytime which apparently for some motorcyles is not an option-ie. the hadlight stays on all the time. Obviously this costs battery power.
Sometime the switch is inside a compartment with fuses in it. It should be fastened to the surface of this compartment so the switch is accessible. There is a hole in the compartment for the switch.
1981 Chevy Corvette and none of the brake lights or the emergency flashers will not work for some reason it's not the fuse so what could it be?
This can get complicated OK check your brake light switch (it is under the dash look under dash at the brake pedal look for a switch the goes that switch when you push the brake pedal there may be more than one) use a 12 volt test light or meter to see if the switch has 12 volts and is working. If not replace if so next you may want a wiring diagram a lot…
simply depress the hazard light switch on top of the steering column. if the switch does not turn on hazard lights the switch may need to be replaced. this is common with this body platform. Be aware that the turn signal and hazard switch are all one part. it is not a difficult task to change, but remember that you will need some expertise for dealing with the air bags and steering wheel removal
To make the turn signals work in a Pontiac Grand Am the hazard light button must be jiggled how can this be fixed?
1995 Buick Riviera No brake lights Switch on brake pedal is new fuses good the hazard light switch is broken you are told the brake light circuit goes through the hazard light switch?
I stopped by an independent MB shop because my turn signals had stopped flashing and was told the flasher is part of the Hazard Light switch. My HL switch is located behind the Power window switch in the center console. Haven't taken it apart yet. The hazard light switch is part of the circuit, and generally causes the issue you describe. It needs to be removed, and cleaned or replaced. Cleaning the Hazard Switch http://www.peachparts.com/Wikka/HazardSwitch
What could cause the turn signals not to work in a Saturn L200 when the car is cold less than approx 30F?
Firstly the indicator lights started to stop working on a 1996 Nissan Primera and now the hazard lights don't work either except once in a while so how do you find the fix?
Sounds like there is a problem with the turn signal switch but it could be another problem. First you need to see if the hazard light's work normally when turn signal is not on, if it does the the turn signal switch is the problem. If your hazard lights do not function when you turn the hazard light switch on, then it's a simple fuse or flasher canister that has gone bad and your hazard…
there was a recall on the hazard light switch that caused the rear brake lights (minus the high mount 3rd light) to stay on. the hazard lights and turn signals still worked. there was only an electrical malfuntion in the hazard lamp switch on the steering column. go to your nearest dealer, they will fix it for free and it only takes about 1/2 hour
