Oxygen Sensor
Some vehicles have (2) and some have (4) O2 sensors.
When you start looking at the O2 sensors, they are normally numbered something like "Bank 1 Sensor 1" Bank 1 is on the passenger side; Bank 2 is on the driver's side. Sensor 1 is the upstream sensor (near the frame, between the block and the cat) and Sensor 2 is near the Y-pipe (downstream of the cat).
Normally it is the upstream sensors (sensor 1) that go first. They see the harshest conditions.
You will need;
Oxygen Sensor Socket
Anti-Seized
Penetrating Oil
I have even used a small plumbers propane tank and heat it up and it help get them free.
Sometimes it will take 15 minutes or take a few hours it depends on your luck... ________________________________________________________________________
Oxygen Sensor ___ Ford Expeditions, Navigators, F-150
There are actually (4) O2 sensors on your truck. If you look inside the wheel wells behind the fender liner, right about where the frame is one O2 sensor, the other is underneath the truck about half way back in relation to the transmission. If you see where the exhaust joints together, you went about 6" too far.

Bank 2 sensor 2 refers to the oxygen sensor on the passenger side of the exhaust system and after the catalytic converter. heater circuit is the oxygen sensor or the wiring going to it, it is what is called a heated oxygen sensor. Google image search oxygen sensor and that is what it looks like, and they can be a bear to get out.
if it is a V8 bank 2 is on the right (passenger side). sensor 1 is before the catalytic converter (sensor 2 is after)
The upstream heated oxygen sensor is located ahead of the catalytic converter The downstream heated oxygen sensor is located behind the converter
There is no such thing as a "circuit fault bank." That was the terminology your scan tool used to tell you that there is a fault in the downstream heated oxygen sensor circuit. There are three sensors screwed directly into the exaust system. Two you will see under the hood, screwed into exaust manifolds. Those are the upstream oxygen sensors. Now get under the truck. Find the lone sensor that looks like the other two, screwed into the exaust sytem after the catalytic converter. That is the downstream oxygen sensor. The downstream oxygen sensor circuit that there is a fault in, includes that sensor, and all the wiring in that circuit all the way back to the PCM (computer), and includes the PCM itself.

Newer oxygen sensors are heated for accuracy. If the heater element goes bad the oxygen sensor doesn't work and needs to be replaced. If you have an oxygen sensor heater malfunction, it just means that the oxygen sensor has failed.
